Magic Journeyman Training takes the magic
student to the next level - Performance Magic. Each one hour
session session will prepare the budding journeyman for the
production, technical support and presentation of a quality magic
showcase featuring the combined talent of Magic
Youth International.
We recommend that all youth members join at the
Apprentice level to take advantage of the Pay-As-You-Learn membership
fees and to pick up valuable magic knowledge. However, teens
with adequate magic skills and knowledge may ask for fast-track
advancement to the Journeyman or Magician levels. The fees for joining at the Magic
Journeyman Level include the I.B.M.
Junior annual membership & Linking Ring subscription
($35.00), the new member application fee ($15.00) and the local Ring
#199 annual membership fee ($15.00).
Class materials and lectures at the advanced levels
are pay as you go. The text book for this training is Magic and
Showmanship: A Handbook for Conjurers by Henning Nelms.
